An event made to build community and connection:
The annual community potluck is a cherished tradition at Raven’s Roots Naturalist School! This free event is meant to bring people together into deeper relationships with one another through the amazing wonderful practice of sharing food and celebrating the bounty of fall.
This year’s potluck is taking place on Saturday, October 10th, starting at 11am in Bellingham, WA. Be prepared to bring along a lunch dish to share with your neighbors, as well as an empty container to take home some fresh apple cider! We will be bringing in loads of apples and a press, but folks are welcome to bring along their own apples to press as well! Note that registration is capped at 50 people to make sure we can all fit into our space! Register now to receive an email with full details!
Electricity and running water will be available at our potluck site, and we have a sheltered space in case of inclement weather. Be aware that the fall weather may require some form of extra warm clothes or rain gear! For those wanting to stick around after lunch, in addition to the apple press we have lawn games, and the area has several excellent forest trails. Bring along your family and friends, and we look forward to seeing you all there!
