Price: This course is sliding scale, $250-$500. We request that folks think carefully about how much they can afford. Those who can afford to pay the higher rates can help us share outdoor knowledge more equitably when they chose to pay on the higher end of the scale!

This trip is designed to help women and non-binary folks feel more comfortable backpacking! Whether you have never been backpacking before, or are just looking to brush up on your existing knowledge with a professional guide, we will cover all the things you need be successful in the backcountry!
This two night trip will take place in the Mt. Baker area, with three days of hiking, and the longest day having a distance of about four miles. Our professional instructors will help you to prepare for the course and assemble and pack the appropriate gear. They also act as your naturalist guides throughout the trip. There will be instruction on plant and animal identification, camping techniques and site selection, backcountry cooking, and what to do when Nature calls! Our wild women program is intergeneration, with past participants ranging from their 20s to their 70s, so there is a place for you here!
