Join us for a walk through the forest as we explore the fascinating world of mushrooms. This 3-hour workshop will focus on the ecology of fungi, the important roles they play in forest ecosystems, and the relationships they form with plants, animals, and the soil beneath our feet. Along the way, we’ll examine a variety of mushrooms in their natural habitat and learn the fundamentals of mushroom identification, including the features to observe, the terminology used by mycologists, and the process of identifying mushrooms safely and accurately. Whether you’re new to fungi or looking to build a stronger foundation, this workshop will help you see the forest in a whole new way.
