Monday, October 12th (5:30pm-7pm): The Fall Colors Tree Walk. Meet at the Viking Union Building on the Western Washington University campus in Bellingham.
Instructor: Theodore Hoss
Come join us to hear the stories of trees! This tour is the annual chance to see the most colorful trees of campus, and hear the reasons for the bright showy fall display! The tour will take place outdoors on the campus grounds, and we will be walking about a quarter mile with stops at different trees along the way. At each stop, we will take a moment to appreciate the color, and the natural history of each Autumn gem. With dozens of different species growing in our landscape, there is always more to learn!
Even though this tour is free, we do request that participants register so we have an idea of how many will attend! Be sure to dress for the weather!
