Bark Peeling, Arnica and Wild Asparagus - Okanogan Wenachee National Forest

Meeting up somewheres near Chelan( exact location will be given after registration) we will cover lots of vertical ground this weekend, starting on the banks for the Columbia and ending in the high canyons of the Okanogan Wenatchee National Forest.
What we will harvest: wild asparagus, dog bane hemp, Artemisa ludoviciana, willow bark, Arnica, fir bark, false Solomons seal, wolf lichen and possibly morels. Plus lots of other wild herbs.

What we will create- Wild asparagus and mushroom scramble, dog bane hemp cordage for future projects, and a plethora of medicines ( tinctures, oils glycerites etc) from the herbs we harvest. A reminder lesson on medicine making will be given for those who need it. We will also peel bark and dry it for future basket projects.

Participants need to bring their own jars and solvents for medicine making.
